Referrals and Fees
Referrals: As a Specialist Provider
Dr. Leia-Stephen requires a new referral every 6 months for most services. You may be asked to see your family doctor or a walk-in clinic to have a referral sent for the following services requiring clinical management:
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Spider veins
- Varicose veins
Cosmetic Consultation Fee
Cosmetic consultations are not covered by the BC Medical Service Plan. $75 is charged for cosmetic consultations and this fee can be applied to any treatment or service (not product) if done within 30 days of consultation. There are no refunds for consultation fees.
Filler Deposit Fee
$200 Filler deposits are required at the time of booking. Deposits are eligible for a refund of the full deposit amount with 48-hour cancellation notice. We require 24 hours for rebooking.
Deposits are only retained by our clinic if an appointment is rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice or if a patient does not attend the scheduled appointment.
