Poikiloderma consists of areas of hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, telangiectasias, and atrophy and is often seen on the chest or neck. It is typically characterized by red colour pigment on the skin.

Treatment Option

Excel® V a laser used to treat both superficial and deep vascular conditions. Redness and swelling are common post-treatment though typically resolves within a few days. A series of at least 3 treatments scheduled 4-6 weeks apart is recommended.

Submental fullness “double chin” may be due to a pocket of fat under the chin.

Treatment Option

Belkyra® a non-surgical treatment for excess fat under the chin. A series of injections facilitate the breakdown and absorption of fat, producing gradual and natural re-contouring of the jawline and chin. Visible improvements are seen after 2-4 treatments scheduled 6-8 weeks apart.

Crepey lax skin has been historically resistant to many treatments. it may be due to a combination of aging, unprotected sun exposure, and excessive weight loss.

Treatment Options

Fraxel® a non-ablative fractional laser that targets pigmentation, lines, and wrinkles. It induces collagen production to improve skin texture and firmness. A series of 3 treatments scheduled 4-6 weeks apart is recommended.
